Global Research & Publishing Database (GRPD) is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness, and integrity throughout the research publication process. A Conflict of Interest Policy helps ensure that authors, reviewers, editors, and other individuals involved in the publication process disclose any relationships or circumstances that may influence, or appear to influence, their professional judgment.
Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest promotes trust, accountability, and ethical decision-making in scholarly publishing.
1. Definition of Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest occurs when personal, financial, professional, institutional, or other relationships may influence an individual's objectivity or decisions related to research evaluation and publication.
Conflicts of interest may be actual, potential, or perceived and should be disclosed whenever they exist.

- Personal or professional relationships that may influence the research.
- Institutional affiliations or partnerships related to the study.
- Ownership of patents, products, or commercial interests connected to the research.
If no conflicts of interest exist, authors should provide a statement confirming that there are no competing interests.
3. Responsibilities of Editors
Editors must ensure that editorial decisions are made independently, objectively, and without inappropriate influence.
Editors should:
- Disclose any conflicts that may affect their ability to evaluate a manuscript.
- Assign manuscripts to alternative editors when a conflict exists.
- Maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial process.
- Ensure that acceptance or rejection decisions are based on scientific merit.
4. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers should decline to review manuscripts if they have:
- A personal or professional relationship with the authors.
- A direct academic or institutional connection that may affect impartiality.
- Financial or competitive interests related to the manuscript.
Reviewers must provide objective evaluations and maintain confidentiality regardless of any relationship with the authors or research.
5. Funding Disclosure
Authors must disclose all sources of financial support that contributed to the research, including grants, institutional funding, commercial sponsorship, or other forms of support.
Funding information should clearly state the role of the funding organization in:
- Study design.
- Data collection and analysis.
- Manuscript preparation.
- Publication decisions.
6. Undisclosed Conflicts of Interest
Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in further investigation and appropriate action by GRPD.
Possible actions may include:
- Requesting clarification or additional disclosure.
- Correction of the published article.
- Expression of concern regarding the publication.
- Retraction of the article in serious cases.
7. Transparency Statement
GRPD believes that transparent disclosure of conflicts of interest strengthens the credibility of published research and supports ethical scholarly communication.
All authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the publication process are expected to act with honesty, fairness, and professional responsibility.
By submitting a manuscript to GRPD, authors confirm that all relevant conflicts of interest have been disclosed and agree to comply with this Conflict of Interest Policy.
